What do you know about the brain? When was the last time you did a fun science experiment? Have you ever visited Ghana’s Museum of Science and Technology? Look no further, G.H.Scientific invites the general public to its maiden Science Festival dubbed SciFest 2023. The festival, which promises to be nothing short of eventful seeks to merge scientific curiosity, education and fun for all the family.
As a people with a love for science, G.H.Scientific believes in the explorative mind of students when put in the right environment. With past events such as the Science Barcamp and Neurogirl Camp, the organization also holds on to the belief that, students are able to make the right decisions when the right information is made available – a platform the SciFest seeks to provide.
This year’s SciFest is geared towards creating and promoting engagement among the general public and practitioners in the STEM space. There will be a line up of activities including hands on demonstrations, fun science experiments for all ages with a focus on the wonders of the brain. Participants will also have an open tour of Ghana’s Museum of Science and Technology. Exhibitions on alternative science careers will expose both students and parents to science career options available in Ghana besides the usual suspects
What to expect at SciFest 2023
As the maiden event, it seeks to set the tone for future editions by creating a culture of students and families engaging with science outside the classrooms in a family friendly environment that places value on positive experiences above all else.
Aside this, the SciFest will be aptly placed to provide a unique STEM experience for pre-tertiary students as well as for families looking for an alternative way to spend their time.
Attendant to the fair are expected to pay 20ghc for a ticket with group and school discounts available. This grants access to the fair grounds and all other activities including
- Experiments for all ages

The event is scheduled for May 13, 2023; time is 9am – 4pm at the Museum of Science and Technology (MST) in Accra
