Q: When and where is the SciFest Happening?
The SciFest is taking place on Saturday 13th May at The Museum of Science and technology (Near UG Accra City Campus) from 8.30am to 3.30pm
Q: Who is organising the SciFest?
The SciFest is being organised by G.H.Scientific in partnership with the Museum of Science and Technology and DEXT Technologies. The SciFest is also supported by the International Brain Research Organisation, the Dana Foundation, Ghana STEM Network, the Ghana Science Association and the Ghana Young Academy with StarrFM as media partners

Q: How much does it cost?
Individual tickets cost 20ghc. Family tickets cost 70ghc. School tickets cost 500ghc and admit 30+ students from the same school. Click here to purchase a ticket
Q: What does my ticket give me access to?
You get access to the fair grounds, entry to the career talks, a free tour of the museum and participation in all competitions and the opportunity to judge the science fair projects presented by students.
Q: Where can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets via egotickets at this link: purchase tickets. You will receive a free souvenir when you purchase your ticket through this platform. Tickets will also be available at the gate on the event day
Q: Is it free for children?
The SciFest is free for children aged below 10 years

Q: How can my school participate?
As a school you can participate in two ways. Firstly you can purchase a School ticket which admits your students at a heavily discounted rate. Follow this link for more information: For Schools
Q: Can schools exhibit science fair projects?
Yes, If you wish to exhibit a science fair project please complete this form. Exhibiting a science fair project comes with free entry for up to 5 team members of the project
Q: Is there a cost if my school exhibits a science fair project?
Exhibiting a science fair project comes at no cost and up to 5 members of the project team can get free entry into the fair
Q: Are there discounts available for large groups?
There are school discounts available for 30 or more participants. Find out more here
Q: What activities can I look forward to at the SciFest?
There will be brain themed experiments and demonstrations as well as a selection of science experiments that participants can take part in. We will have partners who run after school science clubs including robotics also giving participants the opportunity to take part. Lastly there will be tours of the museum and scheduled talks form renowned scientists.
Q: Which speakers are you expecting at the SciFest?
We are expecting Dr. Yaw Bediako, founder of Yeemachi, the only Ghanaian biotechnology company focused on genetics. Mr. Darlington Akogo, founder of mino Health AI Labs, an AI Healthtech company. There are three more renowned scientists yet to be announced.
