7+ years of community

GhScientific was set up in 2014 with the sole purpose of building capacity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through public engagement and outreach activities. The founders, Dr Hephzi Tagoe, a skin biologists and Dr. Thomas Tagoe a neuroscience researcher were inspired by their experiences navigating the UK STEM scene and the desire to give back.

The brother and sister duo launched GhScientific initially as an online platform with the believe that by creating a science network, all stakeholders within the field of STEM can pool together to achieve great impact

GhScientific currently operates in the UK and in Ghana with the aim of making stem accessible

Our contributions to the STEM community

Voluteering

Ghscientific provides volunteering and work experience opportunities for people from underserved communities looking to find a place in the STEM community.

Public Engagement

With the mandate to bridge the gap between the public and science, GhScientific brings hands-on science activities to underserved communities and hard to reach audiences.

Collaborations

Working with families from underserved communities allows GhScientific to improve the reach of their science engagement through our stem inspired field trips

Workshops

STEM career workshops are a good way to educate parents and their wards alike, providing the neccessary information to make informed career decisions.

Good things happen when the science community engage with the public.
