The University of energy at Sunyani has inaugurated a US$1.2 million COSMIC-2 Satellite Ground Station. The satellite station is one of 8 worldwide and the first in Africa. It will be used to monitor the weather and can forecast four days ahead with improved accuracy. Read more on the story here
